Refugee services


Refugees may be eligible for medical assistance and social services programs such as job and language training, employment counseling, job placement, child care and transportation related to employment, citizenship training, and naturalization services.

For Whom

Individuals who are unable or unwilling to return to their country of nationality because of persecution or a well-founded fear of persecution due to race, religion, nationality, membership in a particular social group, or political opinion. Refugees entering the United States have been given permission to do so by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
