Jobs also created in support disciplines...

My name is Christina Perna. I am an Ohio native and hope to remain in Ohio in the future so that I can be near my family. Currently I am attending Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio. This year I started my final year of undergraduate work towards degrees in Accounting and Finance. I will graduate April 2009. I am currently doing an accounting internship at Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems (US) Inc. This internship allows me to experience the real life application of the concepts and principles that I have learned in my classes and earn credit hours that will qualify me to take the CPA (certified public accountant) exam.

Creating high-technology jobs in Ohio...

My name is Adam Babcock. I moved to Ohio over 10 years ago to attend Malone College and pursue a Bachelor of Science degree. Three years ago, I decided to go back to college in an engineering discipline. I chose Stark State College of Technology's Mechanical Engineering Technology program with an emphasis in Fuel Cells. While attending the college, I had the opportunity to do an internship with Rolls-Royce Fuel Cell Systems (US) Inc. This led to a full-time position with the company in May of 2008. As an employee of Rolls-Royce, I have had the opportunity to travel to the UK to see first hand how the technology works. I've also had the opportunity to visit the AEP Walnut Test Site in Columbus, OH where a Rolls-Royce fuel cell power plant was under construction. I have recently made plans to continue my education. I've been accepted into the engineering department at the University of Akron.
