Press Room >> 2009 Press Releases FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE PATT- MCDANIEL ANNOUNCES RELOCATION OF SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COLUMBUS - Lisa Patt-McDaniel, Interim Director of the Ohio Department of Development, today announced that the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) located at the Urban League of Greater Cleveland will relocate to Corporate College East, 4400 Richmond Road in Warrensville Heights, Ohio 44124. The relocation is due to the forthcoming closing of Cleveland’s Urban League. “The assistance provided by our Cleveland Small Business Development Center is essential for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs,” said Patt-McDaniel. “We are grateful that we are able to operate out of Corporate College, ensuring a seamless transition and that the same services are offered.” The Small Business Development Center, a one-stop location for business assistance, will continue providing technical assistance and trainings at the new location. Effective June 1st, SBDC staff will be available for counseling by appointment Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Counseling will also be provided by appointment at Corporate College West, a satellite office located at 25425 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, Ohio 44145. “On behalf of the staff of the Greater Cleveland SBDC, we are grateful for the leadership of the Ohio Department of Development’s Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division for moving quickly in a situation that could have been chaotic,” said Stacey Banks-Houston, Director of the Greater Cleveland SBDC. “The transition of the SBDC during this challenging time has been smooth and we are pleased that we can continue our business of serving small businesses in Cuyahoga County.” For more information about the new Center, please call Geraldine Weiser at 216.987.2918.
