COLUMBUS – Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher today announced that a $100,000 Rapid Outreach Grant has been awarded to STAR Dynamics Corporation to aid in the growth of the business and the creation and retention of jobs in Ohio. The grant, administered by the Ohio Department of Development, was approved today by the State Controlling Board and could create 37 positions and retain 54 jobs for Ohioans.

“The aerospace and defense industry leverages unique synergies by combining Ohio’s manufacturing expertise with our state’s high-tech strengths” said Lt. Governor Fisher, who also serves as Director of the Ohio Department of Development. “Building on these core strengths makes businesses more competitive and creates prosperity and opportunity for Ohioans.”
