PATT-MCDANIEL ANNOUNCES GROW IT, MAKE IT, SELL IT
OHIO MICRO BUSINESS EXCHANGE
COLUMBUS – Ohio Department of Development Director Lisa Patt-McDaniel today announced
Grow It, Make It, Sell It – The Ohio Micro Business Exchange, a day of free workshops designed to assist the growth of Ohio's micro-businesses. The event is sponsored by the Department's Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division and Ohio Small Business Development Centers.
"In celebration of National Small Business Week, we are pleased to present this day-long event to assist our state's micro businesses in learning the skills they need to succeed in a 21st century economy," Patt-McDaniel said. "Micro businesses play a significant role in the economic growth of our state. Hair stylists, caterers, plumbers, farmers, and any home-based, self-employed person should attend these workshops."
The event will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the James A. Rhodes State Office Tower Auditorium, 30 East Broad Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Workshops at the event will address topics pertinent to a variety of micro business:

Registration is required by May 21 for the event, which is co-sponsored by Pearl Market. Participants can enjoy Pearl Alley's lunchtime festivities with farmers and vendors on their own.
