FISHER CONGRATULATES ENTERPRISE INFORMATION MANAGEMENT Company to Expand its Midwestern Regional Office; Create 150 Jobs in Dayton

Columbus, OH -- Lieutenant Governor Lee Fisher today applauded Enterprise Information Management, Inc. (EIM) for its decision to expand its Midwestern Regional Office in downtown Dayton (Montgomery County). EIM announced today that it plans to invest at least $1.5 million into its business and information technology operation, which services various U.S. government agencies. As a result of this growth, the company plans to create 150 high-paying jobs.
"It's encouraging to see the continued growth of Dayton area businesses, which comes as a direct result of the community-wide effort to reverse Base Realignment and Closure recommendations,"said Lt. Governor Lee Fisher, who also serves as Director of the Ohio Department of Development. "I want to congratulate the Dayton community and EIM, a growing company that is a key player in the region and an important partner in advancing the state's activity in the expanding high-tech research and development sectors."
EIM is a veteran-owned small business that delivers complex business and information technology solutions to the U.S. Government, working with the Department of Defense, Military Services and civil agencies. Headquartered in Arlington, Virginia with sister locations in Washington, D.C., Delaware, and New Mexico, EIM's capabilities include enterprise transformation, acquisition management and information technology services.
The Dayton project includes the expansion and renovation EIM's existing Mid Western Regional Office in downtown Dayton. The company plans to invest at least $1.15 million for machinery and equipment and leasehold and infrastructure improvements, as well as $350,000 in furniture and fixtures. The 14,500 square-foot facility will be used to provide IT services to assist organizations in building quality information management solutions.

"We believe that an expansion to Ohio will greater serve our current customers as well as increase our customer profile exponentially."
In support of the project, the Ohio Tax Credit Authority today awarded a 45 percent Job Creation Tax Credit for a five-year term, valued at more than $1 million over the term. The tax credit requires the company to maintain operations at the project site for 10 years.
