LT. GOVERNOR VISITS GENERAL MILLS FACILITY IN WELLSTON

Columbus, OH -- Lieutenant Governor Bruce Johnson visited the General Mills production facility in Wellston today to mark the opening of a new 69,000 square foot frozen foods warehouse facility. Joining Lt. Governor Johnson in the ribbon cutting ceremony were state Senator John Carey, Rep. Clyde Evans, and General Mills plant manager Tim Dill.

“As Lieutenant Governor, I am excited to be in Wellston today to help General Mills open this great new facility,” said Johnson, who also serves as Director of the State Department of Development. “Businesses like General Mills recognize that Ohio is a great place to do business, and I commend General Mills on their commitment to Ohio and to the local economy of Wellston.”

General Mills has produced Totino’s pizzas and hot snacks in Wellston since 1981. They produce 1.2 million pizzas each day making Wellston the Frozen Pizza Capital of the world.
