JOHNSON ANNOUNCES ASSISTANCE FOR INFOCISION
Call Center to Create 250 Jobs in Youngstown

Lieutenant Governor Bruce Johnson today announced that the Ohio Tax Credit Authority has approved a 55 percent Job Creation Tax Credit for a seven-year term to InfoCision Management Corporation. The company plans to establish a call center in Youngstown that will create 250 jobs within the first three years of operation.
“I'm pleased that InfoCision plans to locate this call center in Youngstown,†said Lt. Governor Johnson, who also serves as state development director. “The company’s investment in this facility and Youngstown’s workforce is commendable. I’m confident that InfoCision’s commitment to the Mahoning Valley will have a positive impact on the region’s business climate, and the good jobs that will be provided will offer Ohio workers great professional and quality of life opportunities.â€
InfoCision operates 22 call centers in three states. The company provides a variety of inbound and outbound communication services. InfoCision is a leading provider of outbound and inbound marketing services for nonprofit, religious, political and commercial organizations, raising more money for nonprofits than any other organization in the world.
Ohio was in competition with West Virginia and Pennsylvania for this more than $1 million project. The value of the tax credit will be $363,613 over the term and the company is required to maintain operations at the site for 14 years. Other state assistance committed for this project includes a $48,000 Ohio Investment in Training Program grant. The City of Youngstown is also providing support in the form of an Enterprise Zone.
