The Global Markets Division encourages Ohio companies to participate in trade shows, seminars and workshops. The following list of upcoming events includes opportunities that can enhance your export efforts. 

October 17-27, 2009 – China - The Greater Cincinnati Chinese Chamber of Commerce is coordinating a 2009 China Business Development Mission to visit Shanghai, Beijing, Liuzhou and Nanning.  The purpose of the mission is to assist Ohio companies to establish business and government contacts and prospective business partners.  For more information, contact the GCCCC at 513-852-4100 or chinesechamberoffice@gmail.com.

October 22, 2009 – Cincinnati, OH - The Southern Ohio District Export Council (SODEC) and Xavier University will conduct the 4th Annual International Trade Conference, “Selling to Middle East and North Africa” on Thursday, October 22 from 7:00am to 5:00pm.  Topics will include market briefings Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Libya, Morocco and Qatar; work considerations in Middle East & North Africa (including visa & immigration); and US export compliance The conference will take place at the Cintas Center in Cincinnati.  Access http://www.buyusa.gov/cincinnati/cincyconference.html for more information. 

November 15-21, 2009 – China - Columbus-based SinoConnect is coordinating a mission to the 11th China Hi-Tech Fair in Shenzhen, China.  The purpose of the mission is to assist Ohio-based high-tech companies understand the Chinese high-tech market, identify partners, and locate projects in this rapidly growing market.  Contact Monica Xia at 614-218-4538, or email monica.xia@sinoconnect.com.
