Retooling for Ohio’s Advanced Energy Markets Ohio is uniquely positioned to become a world leader in the development and manufacturing of Advanced Energy Technologies - Solar Energy, Wind Energy, Geothermal, Clean Coal Technology and Nuclear Energy. The Ohio Department of Development is focused on maximizing the potential of Ohio's workforce and industrial infrastructure as the State moves into these exciting new markets. On June 16, 2008, a group of economic development professionals from across Ohio converged on the campus of the Ohio Deparment of Agriculture in Reynoldsburg. Their collective mind was on Retooling for Ohio's Advanced Energy Markets. This event was d esigned to inform them about Ohio's opportunities in advanced energy and to equip them to help interested companies to engage in supplying these industries.
