Who We Are
We are city planners, environmental scientists, business professionals and economic development experts - all working to rebuild and enliven Ohio's communities.

Why is redevelopment important to us?
Ohio's existing communities form the base of a strong and healthy economic climate for the rest of the state. With the redevelopment and revitalization of existing communities, Ohio is creating jobs, providing new economic opportunities, and improving the quality of life for its residents. The history, character, and vibrancy of Ohio's existing communities is an asset unmatched by many other places throughout the country.

Fiscal and Environmental Sustainability
While the population of some communities declines, land consumption often continues to increase as growth occurs on undeveloped land. This means fewer residents to support more roads, utilities, and services.

Developers and the public sector can realize short- and long-term financial benefits through the use of existing infrastructure and buildings. By using what we already have, costs can be minimized, environmental impacts lessened, and the character of a place can remain intact.
