Reporting Mandate

Ohio law requires the Ohio Department of Development to post online to a website information about the grants it makes. This website reporting requirement appears in the Ohio Revised Code at Section 125.112(F) and it became effective December 30, 2009. This website is made available to the public to comply with this reporting requirement.

The website reporting requirement applies to grants made beginning in State Fiscal Year 2008 (July 1, 2007-June 30, 2008). This Website includes a searchable database listing both grants and loans that the Ohio Department of Development has made since July 1, 2007.

Searching the Database

The database allows users to browse by a number of descriptors, including recipient name, award date, county/zip code, and award amount. Information in the database is taken periodically from the Ohio Department of Development financial records stored in the Ohio Administrative Knowledge System (OAKS). The date on which information was last updated in the website database is shown at the top of the Search Page.
