Small Business Advocate

The Small Business Advocate serves as a liaison for small business owners as they interact with state government agencies. The Advocate will investigate and work with you along with the state agency to find a fair solution in a non-adversarial manner.

It is recommended that the small business owner try to work with the state agency first.  But, if an agreement cannot be reach, please let the Advocate know by submitting the email form below.  Inquiries will be kept confidential at your request.

This is a free service offered by the Ohio Department of Development, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Division.

Remember, it is important that you try to resolve the problem directly with the state agency before contacting the Small Business Advocate.
