Quantifying Emission Reductions From Energy Efficiency/Renewable Energy SEP Projects in the State of Ohio This report evaluated the emission reduction impacts from 53,553 energy-efficiency (EE) projects and 253 renewable energy (RE) projects that were installed in Ohio. The evaluated EE/RE projects were determined to save/generate cleanly 115,959,145 kWh of electricity, and reduce 176,495 mcf of natural gas, thereby reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions by 117,880 tons, sulfur dioxide (SO2) by 201 tons, and nitrous oxides (NOx) by 80 tons in 2006.
